Storage Instructions:
All our products are manufactured using the lyophilization (freeze-drying) process, ensuring they remain 100% stable during shipping for up to 3 to 4 months.
Once peptides are reconstituted (mixed with bacteriostatic water), they must be stored under refrigeration to maintain stability. After reconstitution, peptides remain stable for up to 30 days.
Lyophilization is a specialized dehydration process, also known as cryodesiccation, in which peptides are frozen and then subjected to low pressure. This causes the water inside the peptide vial to sublimate directly from solid to gas, leaving behind a white crystalline structure known as a lyophilized peptide. This fluffy white powder can be stored at room temperature until reconstitution with bacteriostatic water.
Once received, peptides should be kept cold and protected from light. If peptides will be used immediately or within the coming days, weeks, or months, short-term refrigeration below 4 °C (39 °F) is appropriate. Lyophilized peptides are typically stable at room temperature for several weeks or longer, making temporary storage safe if they will be used within a reasonable time frame.
However, for long-term storage (several months or years), peptides should be stored in a -80 °C (-112 °F) freezer. This method ensures maximum stability and preserves the structural integrity of peptides for extended periods.
Handling and Storage Warnings:
Keep vials tightly sealed and upright. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight, heat sources, humidity, or sudden temperature fluctuations. Do not shake vials after reconstitution; instead, gently swirl them to dissolve the contents. All products should be handled using sterile gloves and appropriate laboratory equipment to maintain compound purity and stability.
